Causes severe calf cramps

Don't know why , but these boots gave me a HUGE calf cramp. I run 3 miles a day, 5 days a week and when I switched to these shoes my calves cramped almost the moment I started running. I have really very muscular calves and thought maybe the shoes just needed breaking in so I wore them all day for a couple of days but every time I tried to walk in them the cramps came back. I love them with a passion

I am an intermediate level runner, a former track and cross country runner, I run an average of 50-60 miles per week and run 5K to ultramarathons. I'm just saying this to prove that I like to think I know my shoes. And I know that this review is just my opinion and that there is a perfect shoe for everyone - it might not be yours but oh my god it's mine! I've worn Brooks Ghost and Launch for years and then started wearing Hoka Cliftons for long runs and recovery runs when doing more focused…
