Overall I am satisfied with this product. I bought this to replace the Arctic Air I bought on the spur of the moment from Home Depot last summer and it still works great. I just don't like having to constantly replace out of stock filters. That's why I chose this model, it doesn't use filters. That being said, when you turn on cooling mode it makes a dripping watery sound as it draws water from the reservoir - not a fan of that. In addition, you cannot change the direction of the airflow. These aren't serious issues, I can get used to the sound of water, and my bedside table is at the perfect height for the airflow to hit me square in the face. Will he single-handedly keep your room at 72 degrees? No, but it works fine as a complement to a crappy air conditioner that property management won't replace. The airflow gets noticeably cooler when cooling mode is engaged, allowing me to actually get some sleep.
