Almost perfect
My 6-year-old son was thrilled. I liked that it has a numeral bezel to make it easier for him to read the minutes (most don't). He seemed to be in good rhythm - not fast and not slow. The only problem is that the lid is glass, not plastic, and the active boy was quick to crack his wrist. When it broke a second time, it became too dangerous to carry.
