It really works. We have three cats and two trays, and no matter how many times I washed them (even 2 times a day) there was always an odor. I don't want my house to smell like the cat lady that I am and I tried so many other things before I found this one. It really works - I put one on the shelf by the door of the room where the cat boxes are and after a few hours the musty cat smell is gone. Every few weeks I put the used jar in the back of the room and put a new one by the door. The used from the back is then sent to my trash can to remove old trash odors until the truck picks it up. It's a great product and I've recommended it to two cat people (there are!) who swear by it too.
