This guard can definitely give you peace of mind. You don't have to hang directly over your child to ensure they don't injure themselves while walking around the house. Of course, that doesn't give you the right to leave your child unattended lol. It's one of those items that you hope will never do what it was designed to do. But it's nice to know you have it.
