I bought this clay for my 10 year old daughter to use for both slime making and clay figurines. I was skeptical of this supplier's low price and thought the clay blocks were tiny, but they are actually about 4" x 5" and an inch thick. A little slime goes a long way, I've seen videos of people using an entire block for a small amount of slime so it may seem like a waste of money (from a parent's financial perspective) but the whole block can actually be divided into several batches are divided. For clay figures, this is the softest, lightest clay you can find. We have bought other brands and this is by far the softest and fluffiest. That being said, this is an air dry clay so only work with what you need at a time, keep the rest in an airtight bag or container as it will dry out and start to crumble and crack and you're not done. with a velvety finish. It is easy to paint whether you paint it while it is still soft or after it has hardened and dried. Keep in mind that we only used nail polish and soft acrylics, so we're not sure about other types of paint, but I don't think there will be any problems. Definitely 5 stars as my daughter loved, loved, loved!
