I wasn't expecting much for the money I paid. I know "real" ones cost hundreds to thousands, but I'm really impressed. People on the street were unloading their cars, I could hear their footsteps, the rustling of plastic bags, the slamming of their car's top gate, etc. It's quite directional too. Worth the money for a toy-level parabolic microphone. However, there are two things: the recording is very bass-heavy and muffled, and the "frequency control" is the volume control. But I don't care, I'm happy with the volume control and don't need to record anyway. Can't wait to take this to the park or sanctuary I actually bought it for. I want to see if I can hear wildlife that I can't see through the bushes.
