I'm going to love this medium sized backpack. So, first you need to explain why only four stars - this product is listed as a framed bag. It definitely lacks an internal frame! This is an external ergonomic mesh frame (good!). The overall quality of the package is such that I will upgrade this rating to five stars when the description is updated and the inside frame feature is removed. I ordered it for day adventures and my daughter asked for it pretty quickly. University student in Colorado. This backpack is ideal for school, cycling and 1-2 day hikes. Pros: Light (weighing just over 1 kg), medium cube size (the description says 40L, but I've never tested a backpack). The frame is an ergonomic mesh which is very comfortable and will probably fit most backrests as the mesh flexes. The backpack can be used with or without a frame. Unframed, this is a typical book or campus backpack with only shoulder straps. Also buy a heavy-duty hip belt with the frame. "Weight load" is relative as I wouldn't use a backpack that weighs more than 15kg at the top. At 40L, 25lbs or so is probably all you could likely cram in, although there are plenty of external mount mounts/straps that can add some weight. Complimentary compartments with some nice pockets like zippered waist pockets. Belt. There is a sleeve in which I placed a hydration bladder and slipped a snorkel through the "headphone" port and there is a snorkel attachment on the right shoulder strap (function not stated). The chest buckle has a survival whistle (as listed). The set includes a rain cover and a stylish bag for storage. The case is lightweight and paired with a backpack can take a pretty decent dose of water from a hose and keep internal items dry. Has two side pockets for water bottles (or with a bladder they can be used to attach to the side of a fishing rod, hiking pole etc. Enough side straps, elastic loops and such external attachment points. Bad: Polyester Dacron rip-stop Fabric is definitely a plus due to its lightness (total backpack weight is only about 1kg) but isn't the best solution for waterproofing or durability.Adventurer typesFor less than $66, the quality of this mid-range backpack is impressive Straps (shoulder and waist) have reasonable medium padding, but there is probably enough padding to support the weight in/on the pack Trail use by removing the skeleton If properly described (or more specifically, removing the "internes Skeleton") It would be very valuable for the price list and it would be 5 stars instead of 4.
