Firstly the pros - the strap is soft enough for NATO and lies flatter than other NATO straps, plus for smaller watches like the SNK I put it on. The seat belt stitching is attractive and I have no doubt that it is pull resistant. The brushed stainless steel hardware looks good and feels solid and solid. Cons: The belt arrived with quite a bit of wear from the inside edge. In addition, free material comes out at the end. As this is introduced into Custodian I expect it to continue to deteriorate. I need to sort this out and see if I can fix these imperfections without ruining the strap. Pretty disappointed considering I chose Barton for their supposedly superior quality. It's quite glossy and a darker gray color than you might expect. However the color matches the product image fairly well - just remember it is as advertised, do not use other gray straps as a reference when making your decision. Overall, I would not recommend this item based solely on quality control issues. This is more in line with what I expected from a Chinese imitation.
