I bought this mainly because of the VIA 716 chipset used to convert SATA to USB which I found to be the best in my own testing compared to others. I also liked how thin this case looked and in fact it is very thin. It fits very tightly to 2.5mm SSDs. The body is made entirely of aluminum with a beautiful silver finish and polished beveled edges. interlock switch. Note that the lock switch must not be moved all the way to the side for a secure lock. And ejecting the SSD is a bit annoying as it can be difficult to get a handle to pull the drive out. However, the chipset's excellent speeds and beautiful thin metal design are easy to forgive.
