These are some downsides: Dark lens; small matrix; limited dynamic range (overexposure); absence of high dynamic range (HDR); continuous shooting is only available in one mode, rather than - as was anticipated - in all modes; Autofocus that is painfully slow; the camera's battery life; the inability to record Full HD video due to the battery's limited capacity; The slow-motion video's quality leaves a lot to be desired, especially given its intended use.
