Review on 🎙️ MAONO AU-100 Lavalier Microphone: Hands-Free Recording for Podcasts, DSLRs, Smartphones, and PCs by Andrew Agarwal

This mic surprised me. After hours of searching and trying to decide between one of these cheaper lavalier mics or a more expensive one like the Rode Lav, I settled on this one and made my choice. This is a great sounding lavalier mic for the price. I use it with a Zoom H1 recorder and can honestly say the sound I get from this little man is way better than my Rode VideoMic recordings. My favorite feature of this mic is that it can be used with either a camera/recorder OR a smartphone. By turning it off, then turn it on to connect to an iPhone or Android device and record directly into the stock recorder app. I haven't tested it so can't comment on the quality when used with a phone, but it's nice to have this feature if you don't always have a dedicated recorder with you. Overall this is a great part for the price. It has a oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo battery pack giving it a premium feel at an unbeatable price.
