I wanted to buy their branded version because I've heard so many good things about them. But then I found these, and my inner curmudgeon insisted I try them first. I'm glad I listened to her! This is one of the best cleaning sponges I have ever owned. Seriously, they might get some of the stuff I turned down. I haven't had any scratches on anything I've used it for, but again, I'm careful. I've been using a sponge so far, for almost a month. There's no odor (I rinse thoroughly after each use), there's no wear and tear on those "metal" loops. Seriously, give them a shot before you go all out and spend big bucks on a steel daddy.
