I've seen a few reviews on Youtube and web documenting that some of the GVM LED sets are mismatched, which is critical for my video footage based on camera settings. I really thought some of the reviews were just a few rare situations, which is understandable, but I was surprised today when I got the GVM 3-Light 1000 LED Kit for only $1000. The first impression from unpacking was satisfactory, the build quality is decent in my opinion. As with any set, the stands are of poor quality and should not be used where the light extends more than 4 or 5 feet. setting), and even before I started testing the color temperature, I noticed that one of the lights is much brighter than the other two, with exactly the same color and intensity settings. I rotated the 3 lights in case there were differences in color pigment or wall texture. I'm not sure if two bulbs are bad or if one bulb is overloaded. It's like a brighter light is a completely different light, and I couldn't get them all together while fumbling with the dials. I really wanted them to work, especially since they have a wireless remote control, but the quality of the light is what matters most. still. I hate packing and sending everything back, but something is really wrong with this system. I think the picture tells a story.
