Ordered this hose fairly recently along with a yamatic pump to replace on my craftsman PW components. The hose connections are good and I could get the shipping memory of the hose shape to straight with ease but that's likely what exposed the missing feature of this hose to be a 5 star product. The hose came in short contact with my muffler and sure enough, it melted through really quickly. Keeping it away from the muffler is easy in thought but sometimes you end up on the other side of your work (truck in the case) and the hose just finds that perfect avenue to make it there.How did this not happen to me on my last hose? It comes from that missing feature that also made my last hose a real pain to reel up. You have likely guessed it but a steel braided jacket. I think its worth noting that if you can find one with this included at what you consider affordable, skip over this produt as its offered today. If yamatic adds in the steel jacket (even with added cost), I would buy it.
