Review on Women'S YESNO Oversized Graphic Pullover Sweater - Casual Loose Long Sleeve Knit Top S01 by Brian Shakey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as nice as others I've ordered

I love these sweaters, and I now, with this one, I have four of them (same brand and style, different pattern). However, with this one, I don't know if I got a "second" or not. On the other YESNO sweaters I have , the neckline and sleeve ends looked more "finished". On one of the sleeves, the seam place ment was off so it looked like a really bad crease. On the other hand, the knit is warm and soft. It is a real sweater knit with a printed pattern--not a sweatshirt or t-shirt type material. It contains part wool, so a head's up for those who are allergic to this type of fabric, or are vegans. I don't like anything scratchy myself, but these sweaters are very soft and comfortable. Despite the flaws in this particular item, I'm keeping and wearing it anyway. Since I'm only 5'2", the sweater almost hits mid-thigh and is perfect to wear with leggings. The sweater is meant to fit loosely, so keep that in mind when ordering. The sizes ARE meant for the American market, so take a look at the size chart (scroll down the page) and order accordingly. I weight about 175-180 lbs presently, and most of that is in the hips and rear. My upper arms are also flabby. I still could have comfortably fit in the 2XL, but I really liked the oversized look with my leggings, so I ordered up. If you are thin or athletic, or just like a closer, regular fit, you might want to consider sizing down. Again--look at the measurements to order (I think they are really more of what the garments measure rather than body measurements). Anyway, I'm only very SLIGHTLY disappointed with my latest sweater from this brand, but not enough to bother with an exchange or refund. I've already worn it a couple of times, and it is still a nice, cozy sweater with an attractive design. One other thing--the manufacturer can't decide whether this is "dry clean only" or "hand wash". Not necessary. I've machine-washed all the sweaters in cold water, delicate cycle in regular detergent and some in-wash fabric conditioner. However, you DO want to hang those dry (inside out of the sun), or lay them flat because they WILL shrink in the dryer. My boyfriend did the wash one day and threw one of the other sweaters in the dryer before I realized what happened (probably set it on "high heat"). Luckily, because I did order a larger size, the sweater still fit me (more like a normal sweater), but shorter (still covered my butt, though). Overall, I still recommend you give these sweaters a try if you like bold patterns and a comfy fit.

Pros
  • A perfect fit that accentuates your curves and contours in all the right ways
Cons
  • The graphic on the sweater may be difficult to pair with other clothing items
