They are very, very beautiful! Much nicer than her photos. The rubber sole is well made and the leather straps are soft; wide enough to protect the toes but thin enough to allow the shoe to breathe. I used to work in a shoe industry and I kind of know :) Important: If your baby/toddler is chubby and has wide ankles, you need to size up. The shoe itself is true to size, but the strap only opens on one side and you cannot "open the shoe wide" , so it's a bit tight around the ankles. But it stretches because skin.
