My husband has been obsessed with this style of butter dish ever since he saw a video of someone using one and storing the oil in water to keep it soft and spreadable. This is such a nice little jar of oil. You store the oil in the white part and pour the waterline into the blue container where the waterline is written. Then you can turn the oil around and put it upside down. Water forms a seal and protects the insides. Of course you want to keep everything as clean as possible and you probably want to refresh the water frequently. It feels heavy and nice, the price is perfect and it looks great!
