Good easy to customize mouse

I bought this mouse on Black Friday to replace an old Razer mouse that couldn't turn off the lights. In addition, this mouse had three additional buttons. To see why I really like this mouse is its modularity when you take it apart. Please note that disassembling the mouse will void your warranty, so do so at your own risk. Since I bought it for $19.99 I figured it was worth the risk for what I wanted to do. My main issue with this mouse was the scroll wheel texture. It was a little compared to my old mouse. So I decided to open it up and see if I could replace it with a scroll wheel from an old Logitech wireless mouse. Unfortunately the parts weren't interchangeable so I had to do something else. I ended up taking it off and polishing it to my liking. It took some time, but it was worth it. To get into the mouse, all you have to do is unscrew three screws and you're in. There are two things inside that you can change: the mouse wheel and the cable. If you don't like the cable and it doesn't have braided tubing like its pricier cousin (G403 pro), you can take out the old one and replace it with braided tubing, but it's not directly compatible so you'll have to do some soldering. You can purchase this cable directly from Logitech for $10. If you are tech savvy and want a little fun project, this mouse mod might be for you. Overall, I think this is a quality mouse for the price. It's simple, lacks a gamer aesthetic, and is built in a way that leaves the door open for some small mods. But like keyboards and keyswitches, everyone has their own preferences, so I'd suggest going into a store and trying out the options before making a purchase. Images: The image of the bottom of the mouse shows the location of the screws. The parts that go up have screws underneath. The picture inside is exactly the same as inside.
