Outer box is undamaged. However, the item itself was "damaged" on the inside. From what I can see, particularly my last picture, this damage occurred before the product even got in the box. It cannot be that part of the base has been bent OUTSIDE during shipping. This item was visibly damaged during the installation process and the employee determined it was good enough to minimize the negative impact on their production and employment. Pictures 1-3 show tears in the lining and tears in the pocket. I can understand the padding but I don't understand luggage breaks. My first thought was that I received a previously returned item which may be due to what I saw. This damage is unlike anything I've seen in transit. I would return this product were it not for the inconveniences involved and the fact that it works reasonably well despite the bent leg. However, I believe that this damaged foot is causing abnormal vibration. This makes the product a bit louder than I would otherwise think.
