I have some gum problems that my dentist and I are working on - inflammation and "pockets" according to the hygienist (whatever that means). And I have braces that put a little strain on my gums. Knowing all of this, when I ran out of toothpaste, I specifically searched for something that promotes gum health. I've been using this toothpaste and soft bristle brush for several weeks before my last brushing. It has a nice mild mint flavor and a light lather that envelops everything as you brush your teeth. It's a gel that doesn't make me sick like some of the harder mint pastes. And during my last cleaning, all but one of the gum pockets I had were better and my gums weren't bleeding anymore. Of course, part of that was due to the extra floss, but I think that toothpaste helped too.
