Review on New Balance Accelerate Short Medium by John Murphy

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Longer than expected, great construction and good shorts - just not for running

I use these for moderate runs with a typical duration of 45-60 minutes. Pros: *High quality, lightweight material that looks and feels good *Good side pockets, although I don't think you'll enjoy walking around with your phone (it fits easily) *Inner lining that keeps you comfortably in place , but of course tighter than a bathing suit Cons: * All my shorts are soaked with sweat after running. 100% of them (front, back, sides, top, bottom - everything) which is different from other materials and I don't notice any faster drying. The real downside is that the shorts strain my lower quads when wet, making them unsuitable for a serious workout. * The distance from the top of the waist to the middle of the crotch is 12 inches. 7" inseam exactly. Turns out it was about 2 inches above the knee for me and I'm 5'11". They also fit like some of my favorite cargo shorts which are 10 inches from waist to mid-crotch but have a 9 inch inseam so it's important to know this combination of measurements (both 19 inches, both are 19 inches). about the same on the leg). While I would prefer this length in company or maybe at the gym, I find 5 inches better for running.
