As a teacher, my wife prints many pages. Each night. I'm tired of changing $35 ink cartridges every day. We have had this printer for almost a month now and it has printed 1100 beautiful pages so far and we have used about half the black toner. Here's my general laser printer stub. About this guy: I already knew that he doesn't automatically scan a two-sided image (although it does print two-sided), so I'm not shooting stars as advertised. This thing produced great looking prints and copies without a single hiccup. The ADF works cleanly and smoothly (for single-sided pages) and we never had a single paper jam anywhere on this unit, including the manual feeder. The basic software has a fairly basic user interface, but there is more advanced software that allows you to manage advanced printer settings more easily. I ended up needing this to get AirPrint working (needs to enable specific protocol and port). This can present some difficulties for a novice AirPrint user, but it's also possible that I just skipped this part of the initial setup as I had no intention of using AirPrint originally. So far I just really like it when this thing does all of our printing needs.
