I bought 2 packs of 12" fans in April 2019. I installed them in May 2019 and in January 2020 one of them was out of order. The working fan can by hand It can be rotated and rotates almost 360° until it stops. A failed fan can be moved but it does not rotate. I suspect the bearings or bushings are rotating. I will be buying a new fan of a different brand. Update February 2020: The company contacted me and sent me a new replacement fan free of charge. I liked it. Since my truck had two of these fans, I moved the stuck one to the other side, but it blew a fuse. I assume that was the fault because the fan motor was trying to draw too much current during startup. After replacing the fuse and installing a new fan, I started again the work. I also ended up disassembling the broken fan and found that the bearings were covered in some kind of sticky brown varnish. ct that the fat has failed. I cleaned it, reapplied some high temp grease and reassembled everything. The fan is still a bit cramped, but it will likely work as a fallback if needed.
