I'm very disappointed with this strap - the left one (right, just for comparison). and remove the strap from the Fitbit unit, which snapped the first time I put it on - apparently while I was wearing it. I removed the Fitbit to change the band and found there was no easy way to remove it. We had to cut a small piece off the top of the strap to detach it from the front of the Fitbit. Now this band color is unsuitable for me. I have switched to another group and will try to keep a close eye on if this happens with another group. I was also disappointed that the clasps themselves are plastic rather than metal. I don't have high hopes for durability.
