Throw the heaviest cookie dough out of the box the first time to see if it holds up and learned this heavy dough trick. The scoop wanted to bind when squeezed. Turning the spoon up and lightly pressing the gear with your thumb (see image) will level it and the batter will come out with very little pressure on the handles. (Be careful not to pinch your finger :D) Deducted 1 star for durability. Should be able to handle any standard cookie dough with no knots or fiddling.
