Review on 🍯 Honeywell HC26E1004 White Humidifier Filter Pad by Jero Fontaine

I bought the HC26P first because it was the only part listed in my humidifier manual. The HC26P is a cheap piece of paper that looks like it will fall apart when wet (that's the whole point of a humidifier). The original filter that comes NEW with the humidifier is called the HC26E. Apparently the "old" humidifier manual listed several gasket part numbers along with a description of these differences, but that is no longer the case. This aluminum block coated with silver ions is far superior to the paper block. The paper pad is slightly cheaper but needs to be replaced twice as often and doesn't have the same antimicrobial properties. For less than twice the price of a higher quality and with twice the lifespan this is the only pad I will buy in the future.
