Ok I don't usually take the time to review a cable unless it suits me. This one works great. I had to connect a small USB-C dock to my Mac Mini for easy access to things like thumb drives, SD cards, etc., but there's a 6-inch cable connected to the document at all times. so I needed USB-C. Renewal. This cable is sold, looks good, I like the fabric cover. The connectors snap securely into place and work well. It came in a nice box that you don't need to keep, but there was a business card sized notice on the box that caught my attention. It was mentioned that while USB-C connectors are balanced, when using USB 2.0 devices, how the USB-C cable is connected is important. I tested it and they're right (obviously if they bothered to write a postcard). I have USB 3.0 and 2.0 flash drives and when the extension cable is plugged in one way both types work, but I swapped the connector and only USB 3.0 flash drives work. This explains the problems I've had with other adapters and I would blame the USB-C hub I bought and send it back. I'm sure this company put this car there to reduce returns but it was thoughtful and very helpful to me nonetheless. Big + for this product.
