This cable is just what I need to extend the length of my USB-C adapter for my iPad. It's thick and durable and also matches my space gray iPad very well. But the cable is not reversible. It won't charge or send data if it's not plugged in properly, so you may need to unplug and reverse the cable for it to work properly. Not a big deal but it was hard to find the problem. 4/5 stars

I am using this to extend my MacBook's USB-C dock so now I only have 1 cable to my laptop. It has great performance, 4k monitor, stereo sound and about a dozen USB accessories via 2 different USB 3.0 hubs. The picture on the monitor is perfect, the performance seems normal. I've used this USB-C extender several times in one of the USB-C ports on my brand new Dell XPS-13 and the port didn't work more anything. It doesn't work at all. This cable is the only thing I connected to this port and there is no doubt that this cable messed up the port.
