Review on Wireless Video Baby Monitor Motorola MBP36S with Color LCD Screen, Remote Camera Pan, Tilt, and Zoom - 3.5-Inch Display by Dorota Winiewska ᠌

The purchase did not justify itself at all.

We are parents with experience, already the third child. So, about 7 years ago there was a completely ordinary nanny, I don’t even remember the model. with black and green screen and no remote control. So, we went about 50 meters from the house, despite the fact that the child was lying in the bedroom on the second floor. and the picture was transmitted in real time. without disconnection. I was sure that technology has stepped up in 7 years, and after seeing a large number of 5/4 reviews, I bought this nanny without looking. Now I dream of throwing out or selling the motorola somewhere and finding this ancient black-and-green screen in the garage . I will definitely buy a new one, motorola -80 in karma.

Pros
  • the ability to rotate the camera to any angle
Cons
  • 1) the camera loses signal already at a distance of 5 m, even with wooden partitions. it does not meet the declared characteristics at all. In a country house, the signal constantly loses, for example, when you are on another floor, when the child is outside near the porch, you have to keep the reception door open (and what will happen in winter)))? even when the refrigerator door is open on the way, the signal is cut off. This is at a distance of 5 m. 2) regardless of distance and lighting, the transmitted picture is late, the image resembles a nineties modem and video transmission over it, when everything is so twitchy 3) the picture on the screen allows you to guess only the outlines of the child, in poor lighting when the IR mode. in the dark you guess it only by waving your hands
