Review on Creative Sound BlasterX G5 7.1 HD Audio External Sound Card: Enhance Surround Sound on PC/Mac/PS4/Consoles by Tyler Markham

Installation was easy. The device is smaller than I expected. But! Don't be fooled by appearances. This bad boy brought a good improvement in sound quality (Previous version: Realtek High Definition Audio.). Low frequencies sound better and high frequencies shine. I am very happy with the purchase. The headphone amp is great. The high gain setting is too high for my headphones (Kingston HyperX Cloud). I also have my Creative GigaWorks T3 2.1 connected to line out. When I unplug the 3.5mm headphone jack, it automatically uses the speakers. I play Battlefield 4 regularly. I can't say much about it, but I find I get better results when using Scout mode. Why didn't I buy an internal sound card? I heard noise in my headphones when using the cellphone output. Even if I decide to build a Micro-ITX system, I can use this device and the GPU. I can use this device with almost any device. This is also something to consider ;)
