Cute, Soft, Painful Nursing

First things you need to know. This is a review for a Vine Product but for some reason I can't access this toolbar item so I can't leave a review in the usual way I just want to reiterate that this is a Vine Voice review even if it doesn't have a label We're driving The duvet itself is very soft, very cozy and appears to be well made. The detachable weight pocket (mostly mini sandbags sewn together) is a separate piece and should only be used if that is what you want it to be.This is where the cons start for me I know the purpose of a weighted blanket, I think it's a great idea and serves a great purpose, but it's a bit heavy for my son and he was quite uncomfortable with all the weight being put on him dr cringed as he wrapped himself in it. Removing the weighted part is a little easier than putting it on (which borders on a nightmare), and it's not machine washable (or even hand washable), so it'll stay smelly if you kinda sweat. I'm willing to give up before defeat and admit that I don't know everything, so I asked my wife to give it a try and she walked away even less impressed than I was. (We both hate the weight insert, it's such a hassle to put it back in the blanket.) It's like trying to pick up an angry octopus and grab one of its arms and try to put it in a glove, and Octo doesn't I really think kids (who fancy it) will love it, it's nice to look at, the weighted part works (albeit too well) and it's very soft. While weight issues are a major downside for us, the duvet is actually pretty good and I'd recommend it. Just know that it's not much fun to set up. The price is reasonable too. (Seriously, have you looked at adult weighted blankets anywhere? Wow.)
