So I reluctantly decided to attach this to my center dash. I don't want to stick anything to my new car, especially since I know it will leave marks if I decide to take it off after a year or more. Anyway, I made it. This holder appears to be well made. I don't know suction power or duration on hot summer days in Co. California. My other similar holders lasted no more than a week. Feels solid but the phone shakes a bit. Unless you mount this to bare metal or a solid base it will definitely wobble. Just like the other does. My problem at the moment is a nut (don't know what to call it) on the phone mount. No matter how hard I pull, it wobbles a bit. So when I drive on a regular semi-rough road, the phone shakes, which is annoying. I have no problems on flat roads. I'm thinking about filling the gap with glue once I get the holder in position. I've read so many reviews about how reliable it is, but mine isn't. That's why I put two stars.
