I gave them 2 because they're a little over $1 a pair. I only needed something for work, so most of the time the headphones just sit on the table. I wasn't expecting them to be amazing for the price, but I've had dollar store earbuds that last longer than these, especially as they don't wear out and don't move much. Half of the pairs in the package only worked in 1 ear upon arrival, so you really only get 5 usable pairs to begin with, bringing the cost to over $2 per pair. The other half only seems to work for a few weeks before even starting to work in one ear. I easily changed 3 pairs in 1 month. I replaced them with a pair of dollar store ear tips and this pair lasted over 5 months compared to the 10 ear tips in this set which lasted about 2 months. When you were able to find a pair that worked in both ears the sound quality was excellent but that's the only positive thing about these headphones.
