I've only used two towels so far and it's not because the first one broke. My husband used it to wash dishes and I needed one to wash the pasta sauce off my granddaughter's face. It's awesome! They are so soft and yet very durable. They wash and wring out even the greasy areas. I'm just waiting to see how long they last. I'm going to save so much on paper towels and I'm already starting to feel virtuous. They fit perfectly in my kitchen roll holder.
