What a great webcam for the money!

I was looking for a replacement for my (good for 2010) webcam 720r. I needed: True 1080p, 60 fps best, tripod mount and manual focus. Why manual focus? I'm making a regular web video on my desktop and the autofocus just doesn't work. A tripod mount is required to attach to a swing arm camera mount. This camera does exactly what it says on the tin, true 1080p, 60 fps, great color and white balance, and even has a decent built-in microphone. This would be great for any vlogger who wants the simplicity of a webcam without having to mess around with a separate camera. Manual focus is tight which is actually a good thing, prior to this camera I had another manual focus that lost focus far too often. This camera, you set the focus, it stays there. Lens distortion is minimal, there's no crazy fisheye effect that was too strong on another camera I've tried before this one. The tripod mount is brass, which I also appreciate, and not flimsy plastic. Comes with a nice little tripod but that was more of a bonus. It can also stand on the monitor, the adjustable stand is well padded and holds up well. Just very happy with the webcam.

Pros
  • Built-in microphone. Equipped with two noise-cancelling microphones, one on each side, the video calling and recording webcam is able to capture more realistic audio from all angles, making your voice sound natural and clear.
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
