It is made of material with a thickness of 2 mm or less.

Ideal for filling a hole in the material you are installing them in if it is 2mm thick or less. The gap between the top and the latch is only 2mm as shown in the attached picture. If you don't need to secure the plug they will work for you, but they will not work as car plugs as advertised.
