It's hard to get it to work, and even when it works, it doesn't always work. So it is possible to come back. (He's handsome and very cool when he's working). Anyway, here's how I get the display working (if it works): On a Windows PC/Laptop, to get it fully working (display + touchscreen + brightness control), you need to do all of these: 1) Close connect monitor to laptop with mini HDMI to HDMI cable2) connect monitor to power adapter with USB-C cable3) connect monitor to laptop with USB-C cable/laptop (steps 1+3 make this possible) . Sufficient power consumption is required to adjust the brightness. If I skip step 2, the monitor still works (probably powered by the laptop's USB-C port), but with the dimmer and brightness settings inactive. In step 2 I can also adjust the brightness again. The above combination seems to work with Macbooks as well. You can skip 2 for MacBook if your MacBook provides enough power through the monitor's USB-C port. . Also, for the touchscreen to work, you must first move the mouse to the portable monitor before the touchscreen will work. Even if it works, it's pretty cool. But it's kind of a glitch. Maybe I have a lemon. Hope others have better luck.
