First of all, contrary to the description, the composition does not contain lavender. There's a lot of distilled water and very little cedarwood oil or aroma. I sanded my cedar logs and soaked them in this product and then let them air dry. No distinct smell. Saturate them completely again on both sides - let them dry. Just a faint cedar smell when I held it right up to my nose. Soaked a third time - the result is the same. I threw the bottle in the trash. Cedar blocks applied with pure cedarwood oil to now scent my closet - I should have stuck to that.
