This hub has shown me everything over the past few months. Impressively, it can power a fair amount of hardware: a second screen, a full USB keyboard and mouse, a laptop fan, and switching between a recording mic and a USB DAC for listening and editing. Heck, I can even charge my phone on my desk through the same hub and do all of this. My only complaint has more to do with the transfer speed not quite hitting the limit despite using proper drives and ports (max read speed was around 8GB/s) but to be honest when you get that speed on an SSD disable or set and small audio data transfer files and image files, it's a pleasure. Losing optimal speed only matters when resetting the entire drive, which I've only done once and don't plan on doing it again anytime soon, but next time I could just plug the drives directly into the laptop port. Generally so far so good.
