We have a nappy department on both floors of our house and we have both the popular genie and Ubbi. I wanted to love Ubbes but I burned expensive bin bags, they were hard to get out and smell. Moving on to the fact that I decided someone should go - me or ubbi - and then I read the reviews that said actually using ubbi bags is the way to solve all these problems, so I pushed the deduction. DON'T BE ME - just get these bags from the start! They hold more diapers and stand taller than a standard "big" kitchen bag. The material is dense, like a contractor's trash bag, and they actually hold the smell much better. Pulling out a full bag of Ubbi is so easy, while trash bags rip or get stuck, and honestly, who wants to touch more than necessary in a diaper pail. If you are in a crisis it is good to have a garbage bag but I highly recommend bringing one with a bucket.
