This heavy backpack was a good choice! I use a pretty big old 17 inch laptop for work and while it doesn't fit in the bag's dedicated laptop compartment, it fits nicely in the second compartment. I use the laptop sleeve to store my document folder and I'm sure it would fit perfectly with any other more modern 17" laptop. This bag also meets my needs for additional compartments - I can carry clothes in the main compartment (enough for a couple of days) and use the smaller side and front compartments for chargers, toiletries and tools. About 80% of my time I travel on planes and to various locations for work. I've been using this for several months. Now, and it shows no signs of wear. The straps feel solid and the plastic coated bottom of the bag provides extra protection from muddy floors, puddles etc. Overall I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend investing the extra. money to buy this bag. It also looks way cooler than all those nerdy chunky bags, let's be honest! Treat yourself!
