Review on Filter pitcher Aquaphor Provence A5 4.2 l white by Jnis Labucis ᠌

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I have been using filter jugs for more than 15 years. There is no ideal one, and everyone can find something that does not suit you. Here is what I had: "Barrier Style", "Barrier Norm", "Barrier Eco", and this "Provence" First of all, they choose everything according to - “I liked it externally”, and only then comments pop up. What are the comments on the listed ones (except for Provence): a small volume of water, unstable ("Style") For all models, the upper part is not attached to the body, capacity with water. When tilting / draining the filtered water, it is possible to move it and splash out the water. You need to press the upper part with your hand. On some models, to pour water, you need to remove the cover and put it next to it, which is not always convenient because the place can be filled with dishes . Also, some models have a too small filler hole, which is very inconvenient (water fills the top of the jug and if there are small recesses in the design, it dries there over time, like scale, and then it is difficult to clean it) It looks not beautiful. all my models had water meters or a calendar settings. These are absolutely UNNECESSARY bells and whistles. They work incorrectly, incorrectly and can be knocked off the setting when cleaning the jug. Absolutely unnecessary thing. The filter is designed for 300 (or other) liters. (my Aquaphor has 3 months) So I change cartridges, starting from January, from the 1st day (in April, July, October) It is very easy to remember! And there is no need for calendars and stupid counters. Now for Aquaphor Provence. There are more pluses than minuses. It is remarkable that the container for pouring water is rigidly attached to the body, which makes it more convenient to use compared to other models. The cap does not need to be removed, and the diameter of the filler hole is large, which very convenient. Now about the cons. I wrote that the water meter is crap. But it does not affect the work. chamber for water. You have to fill it 2 times. Slow drain. Not everyone will be satisfied.

Pros
  • 1. Of course - Design (like a grandmother's earthenware jug in the village) 2. Strongly snap-on top cover to the case. 3. Large filling hole with non-removable lockable hatch.
Cons
  • The filter element is attached - WITHOUT A THREAD. It is simply inserted and pressed. It is very likely to be crooked. This causes leaks from the upper tank. You have to disassemble the entire top again (and it is on latches) and correct the filter "by eye". And the "water meter" is an absolutely unnecessary thing!
