I received my floating duck thermometer right on schedule and it was exactly as pictured. I placed it in the pool and check it every day against the temperature registered with the indoor control panel for the spa and pool and they are always the same. It floats on its side like a dead fish until you hold it under water to fill. Product is small enough that it finds its way into the skimmer. Annoying.

Super cute design and glass seems very sturdy. I’m older and wear reading glasses (but not in the pool) so was hoping to see larger numbers (pix didn’t do a great job in what you really see) Looks like a pool toy so had to train the Goldens to stay away from it

Great looking thermometer floating in the pool, kids love it and easy to read. String keeps it from getting lost in the tubes floating in the pool. Bright colors also make it easy to spot. Also a great price.

I have purchased a couple of these pool thermometers. They work great at first, as they give very accurate readings. They are also really cute to see floating in the pool. Sadly, the lifespan if them is vert short. Over time, water starts to seep into the top (in this case the blue fish). Also, the smaller versions (like this blue fish) can get sucked into the pool filter.They are cheap and good while they last, but I will no longer be purchasing them because they do not last very long.

"Jaws" is a great addition to my pool. He hangs out with all the floaties and supervises my auto vacuum. He always knows the temp too.

It is essentially a thermometer leveraging decades old technology to tell you what the temperature is of its surroundings. It does that, as does every other thermometer. So no objections, but no kudos either as this is a pretty basic function.

Super cute pool thermometer. Now, 11 months later, the glass panel and thermometer broke away from the tube. Also, the bottom half of the duck is very faded and the top half is partially faded. It has a tendency to get trapped in the pool return area. It was still great for the price.

Lost. A month after purchase. Like all my other duck pool thermometers. I buy them, I toss them in the pool, they are "disappeared” shortly after.I have no idea where they’re going but, my best guess is aliens. Somewhere on a UFO, there is a giant room full of duck thermometers undergoing anal probing.

We use this in a hot tub, only remove it when cleaning and never roughhouse with it. The thermometer detached on the inside of the clear tube and will jiggle around, so temperature readings are not accurate. Never dropped or threw the thermometer. Was good for a few months. We also got a whale and it’s fine.

TEMP SEEMS ACCURATE.HOWEVER, DOES FLOAT TO THE TOP OFTEN. BIGGEST GRIPE IS THAT THE DISPLAY LENS GETS FOGGY AND HARD TO READ. THE SMALL NUMBERS MAKE THIS A BIGGER PROBLEM.

I have to assume it is accurate. This is the only one we have. Definitely had to tie it off to ladder as he kept getting sucked into strainer.

Don’t buy this product. We haven’t even had this product a year and it’s already broken. I mean, how do you make a simple thermometer that doesn’t work even a year?

Cute and easy to find swimming in the pool. You have to slowly put him in the water so his thermometer tube fills with water. Then he stays upright floating around the pool.
