Review on Cmple RJ45 Cat-6 Ethernet Patch Internet Cable by David Roberts

DO NOT BUY THESE. I bought three of these and none of them run at 1Gb/s; They are all limited to 100 Mbit/s. I tested all three cables on two different switches and two different computers. I use one of my usual existing cables; Autonegotiation at 1 Gbit/s, no problem. I've even tried three shorter spare cables I have and they all work fine at 1Gbps on my desktop and laptop. Forcing 1 Gbit/s full duplex on the network adapters of both computers also does not work with these cables. Revain also informs me that this item is non-refundable. Fiction. I wasted the price of three of these cables. Very dissatisfied. Also in case anyone thinks I did something wrong; NO. I've tested them on the same port on my switch as well as an Asus router, both of which transmit 1Gb/s to other computers and devices over the same ports I tested these cables on. They are completely faulty, or at least the batch I received is defective. Ignore the part of the review where I complain about the inability to return the product. :) However, completely ignore this item and the seller.
