chunky but sturdy dual monitor stand

I bought this to support two 24 inch LG monitors. It was cheap - $25 so I gave it a try. assembly is relatively easy. 3 screws to attach the stand to the legs. Loosen the levers with a screw in the middle and slide them open, then tighten them. There's a screw on each end of the arms that you almost have to loosen to allow for adjustments once you've got the monitors in place. The brackets on the back of your monitor consist of just four screws each. Slide the bracket into place and tighten the small screw that holds the bracket in place. Now comes the fun part. In order to align the two monitors, you need to make some adjustments. You want them touching next to each other, then just move them slowly and methodically until you have them where you want them. Depending on how you place them next to each other, you may have one or both hands at the back like "reverse". Because of this, it is difficult to put it against the wall. look at the photo i took. All in all, this is a heavy, solid stand for my use. The monitors I've attached are very light, so I was able to slide one of them further away from the stand, giving me room under the "floating" Mac mini monitor. This thing doesn't have a smooth ride for adjustments. If you just set it up and forget about it, this stand works great. If you plan on moving monitors regularly, this will be a problem.
