The product is solid and very well made but the air vent retaining clip did not work properly in my GMC as it did not cover the air vent sufficiently to prevent it from moving side to side . I had to use a different mount whose ball just caught the bleed clip. Also, I didn't know about the necessary metal ring that needs to be attached to the phone. The ring allows the charging platform to securely hold the phone while charging. It looks weird on my phone and is difficult to remove with everyday use of MagSafe chargers at home. I will keep the item and see if I can get used to the downsides of using it and then decide if I want to return it.
