Some reviews mention a critical breaking point for the thin plastic between the top of the hard case and the camera lens. Yes, it's thin but seems sturdy enough for normal/gentle home use. Therefore, the case must protect the iPad from drops from 4 feet. The cats tried to fall from about 2 feet. No damage. The case fits perfectly and holds the iPad in place for a fairly secure typing experience with the grooves in different positions. The outside of the housing is made of plastic, which is easy to clean with a damp cloth. The look is also more interesting than a simple non-textured case. Used multiple times a day, this iPad case feels durable and easy to use. Been using it since August and feel like a great product.
