Corners break either with no load or after a minor impact. I bought two of these and I have the same problem with both items. I find this odd because I have used cases for my phones for many years and the protection has been excellent.

Some reviews mention a critical breaking point for the thin plastic between the top of the hard case and the camera lens. Yes, it's thin but seems sturdy enough for normal/gentle home use. Therefore, the case must protect the iPad from drops from 4 feet. The cats tried to fall from about 2 feet. No damage. This is the second suitcase I have bought. It's awesome, versatile and pretty darn durable. I dropped it a couple of times and it protected my iPad even though the hard plastic started to crack and crack. But not my iPad, so it's a win. Very low profile. Easy to hold, many vertical iPad options.

There are a few weak points in this case that break. The design needs improvement. Otherwise the bacon is a good brand. This case disappointed me.

I bought this case from Best Buy in March and have had nothing but problems. It kept cracking and I never dropped it. Plus, it collects hair and fur like nothing else. I do not recommend.

I had a small iPad that had a smudge on it and this one would fit, but I actually have an iPad Pro 10.9 so I ordered the wrong size. Bacon is an excellent protective layer. I dropped my iPad and it really protects it.
