I like that it is open-source, which means we have access to all of its codebase! This gives us an opportunity not only to learn from other people's experience but also to contribute back as well. The UI looks very outdated compared with modern software in terms of user interface design or development tools such as HTML5/CSS3 etc. If you are looking at developing your own customised solution then this might be something worth considering; otherwise stick to off-the shelf solutions because they tend to provide more value than their cost would suggest (in most cases). We use Airtable extensively across our organisation including customer relationship management, project tracking & reporting and internal operations. It has helped streamline processes and improve efficiency significantly by reducing manual effort involved. As part of my role, i am responsible for managing the database schema designs using MySQL workbench. With Airtable, there was no need to do any.
